Vincent Incardona is asking for some help with the Agape and Agape dinner .  Here is his request;

There is a great need for Men’s and Women’s Agape.  All reunion groups please start making Agape.  We would also need a group or church to take care of the Men’s Walk Agape dinner.  The meat portion is taken care of all we would need is a group to supply servers, the deserts, and veggies.  On March 25th.

Don Clark bio.

Don Clark bio info for Walk 112

My name is Don Clark. I attended East Texas Emmaus Walk # 47 at Daniel Springs in October of 2000 and sat at the Table of St. Luke.  I am a member of Bonita United Methodist church in Nacogdoches, TX.  My walk was the single most powerful spiritual event in my life.  A fire was set in my heart that will never go out!  Over the years I have met many people for whom the Walk to Emmaus has had a similar impact on their lives.

I was born and raised in Angleton, TX.  My college education was interrupted when I was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War.  I served in Germany from 1971-1973.  Upon my return to the United States, I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a BS and MS degree in Mathematics.  I met my wife Pat while we were at SFA.  We have been married for 40 years and are very proud of our 3 daughters (Heather, Katie, and Emily).

I retired from Lufkin Industries in 2007 after a career as an information technology professional.  Since retirement, I volunteer and work at different places in the community where I can be of help.

I am looking forward to being part of the Walk 112 team.  And with God’s help, we will shape ourselves into the image of Christ. And then use those 3 days to show the Pilgrims what having the spirit of Jesus within – can mean.

Thanks be to the ETEC board for thinking of me to be Lay Director of this walk.  I pray for the support of our community’s 4th day community and will dedicate myself to insure that Walk 112 will be the “best walk ever”.

Pam Andrews bio.

My name is Pam Andrews and I went on East Texas Emmaus Walk #56 and sat at the Table of Mary.  I was born and raised on a farm in Gilmer, TX.  I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a degree in elementary education.  My first teaching job was in Palestine, TX, where I also met my husband and best friend, Joel.  We’ve been married for almost 30 years and are the proud parents of two four-legged children, Hoover and Velvet. I retired from teaching in 2014 and I now work as the receptionist at The Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin. My church home is Carpenter’s Way Baptist Church in Lufkin, where I am known for hugging, encouraging and praising God freely.     When I went on my walk in February 2002, I had been a Christian for almost 30 years, but that weekend, God opened my heart to His amazing love for me that I had never been able to accept. He also began a process of teaching me how to love myself, which has made me a better Christian, wife, friend, daughter and employee.  The Walk to Emmaus changed my life!  When I got home that Sunday evening, my husband said, “You look different!” I was different and each year since, my walk with my Lord has grown stronger and sweeter.  Every day, I dare to live the difference He has made in my life.  My desire for team members and pilgrims is that each person opens their heart and receives God’s gifts of amazing love, tremendous joy and astronomical grace.  It is a blessing and an honor to be asked to serve as a Lay Director in this wonderful Emmaus community and I am very thankful for all the people who have prayed for me and given me much encouragement. Without you, I wouldn’t be in this position and I am forever grateful.  I will do my best to be an extension of God’s long arm of love and I will always give Him all the glory and praise.  This will be the BEST AND MOST LOVING WALK EVER!

Remember the women’s walk will be February 16 through 19, 2017.
